Akshaj Seetharaman
Co-Founder & President
My name is Akshaj Seetharaman, and I’m a junior at Tilden Preparatory School. I plan to pursue a career in engineering, a passion that has guided much of my work with Igniting Dreams. About 5-6 years ago, my sister and I founded Igniting Dreams to support underfunded communities through coat and book drives. Three years ago, I took on leadership of the organization, and since then, our mission has evolved to focus on STEAM education. While we continue our original community drives, our main initiative now centers on donating STEAM kits to schools, to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for engineering in the next generation.

My name is Anissa Caritan-Davis, and I am a junior at Monte Vista High School. I joined Igniting Dreams because I enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to my community. Through this organization, I hope to gain hands-on experience while helping younger students discover their passion for STEM. In the future, I aspire to pursue a career in marketing and branding, combining creativity and communication to make a positive impact.
